Red Clay State Park

Saturday afternoon we ventured out with the Spier family  to Red Clay State Park in Georgia.  It's an old Cherokee village.  You can see replicas of houses and sleeping lodges, fields of wildflowers.  We brought out some frisbees and balls to throw around...

We also walked a little trail that followed a stream that flows from the Blue Spring.
Amazing, isn't it?

Of course we had to stop and splash around and get our feet wet!

And my little monkey wanted to climb a tree!

And then I just had to take some pictures of him in the flowers...I LOVE these!

Thank you Spier Family for a lovely outing and a lovely week!
