Little Boy Blue and His Mama
Yesterday we went to a naming ceremony. The baby is a little girl and her name is Mariam. Like most all other Tuareg fetes, we get dressed up in our best clothes and indidgo headscarves, gather together and eat good food and drink tea.

The Hot Season II
My poor baby has heat rash like you wouldn't believe. This photo doesn't do it justice. This is just one of the reasons why we need to go on vacation.
